Future care: Strong network founded for Brandenburg an der Havel!
On the occasion of German Care Day, which is taking place today and tomorrow in Berlin, the Future Care Brandenburg an der Havel network is highlighting how important local structures are for care design. The German Care Day is considered the most important industry congress for the care industry in Germany. As stadt-brandenburg.de reports, the Zukunft Pflege network (ZuPf) is using the platform of the congress to put the dedicated work in Brandenburg an der Havel in the spotlight.
In recent years it has become clear that good care begins locally and stands on the shoulders of committed people who cooperate with one another. In 2025, three large ZuPf network meetings have already taken place, as well as various actions aimed at improving public perception of care. A highlight was the action day on International Nursing Day, where numerous organizations were present on the Neustadt market and promoted an appreciative attitude towards nursing.
A strong network for care
The ZuPf network is constantly growing. New members bring fresh ideas and help make the diversity of care visible. A themed afternoon on telematics infrastructure was one of the other initiatives organized by a new member. “Talk to us – not about us” is the network’s clear message to politicians, administration and the public. Given the challenges in care, this exchange is more important than ever.
An important goal of the network work is to improve the general conditions for nursing staff. The network is a voluntary association of committed nursing professionals from Brandenburg an der Havel who are committed to professional exchange and greater participation. The network work is financed through funds from social and private care funds, supported by the Academy 2nd Half of Life Support Association in the State of Brandenburg e. V. Interested organizations or individuals can join the network free of charge.
Outlook and future projects
The network has already planned exciting key topics for 2026, including the ‘Last Phase of Life’. Public events are intended to spread information and further promote networking. An excursion to the nursing test laboratory in Berlin is also on the agenda to explore the latest developments in nursing. Inquiries about cooperation from other Brandenburg initiatives are also welcome at any time.
At a time when the nursing sector needs support more urgently than ever, pflegenetzwerk-deutschland.de emphasizes the enormous importance of networking between actors from nursing practice, science and politics. The exchange of good ideas and new findings is encouraged in order to overcome the challenges in care together. Various events, digital dialogues and specialist information make a valuable contribution to improving the quality of care.
