On June 21, 2025 the time has finally come: the U21 European Championship in Slovakia reaches its climax. The German U21 national team fought its way into the quarter-finals as group winners and will face Italy on Sunday at 9 p.m. Coach Antonio Di Salvo is optimistic and firmly believes in the strengths of his team.

The U21 European Championships will take place in Slovakia from June 11th to 28th and promise exciting games. A total of 16 European U national teams are competing, divided into four groups of four teams each. The top two teams in each group qualify for the knockout phase. Germany played in Group B against strong opponents such as England, the Czech Republic and Slovenia and earned favorite status, especially since the last European participations were not particularly positive for the team.
