Dresden celebrates Museum Night: Over 45 museums invite you to discover!

Zellescher Weg, 01069 Dresden, Deutschland - The Dresden Museum Night takes place on June 14, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. This year, visitors can look forward to more than 45 participating museums and exhibition rooms, including the Technical University of Dresden (TUD) with special tours in their gallery of Custody in the Görges building and in the Zellescher Weg (or) office building. The gallery of the custody offers guided tours through the exhibitions "S+T+Arts EC (H) O Showing" and "Sophie Lindner. Celestial Classrooms", which take place at fixed times.

The tours in the gallery last 30 minutes and take place at 6:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. At the same time, visitors can freely explore the exhibition "S+T+Arts EC (H) O Showing" from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Also in the Oder there is an interesting thing to discover: The permanent exhibition and collection of color theory invites you to a tour, while short tours for permanent exhibition and the color theory are offered every hour. These short tours are made by Dr. Jörg Zaun and Prof. Ralf Weber.

participation and commitment

The Dresden Museum Night is traditionally a platform that also involves many other museums in the city. This year, among the more than 45 participating museums, not only the TUD custody is expected, but also numerous other cultural institutions. There are diverse programs for all age groups that range from painting, spraying and taking pictures to workshops and musical performances. Particular attention is paid to the opening of otherwise closed rooms and the presentation of favorite objects by museum directors. The diversity of topics covers social issues such as freedom, future and happiness, which makes the event particularly interesting for young families.

This year, the museum night also offers a national and international ambience because it is carried out in connection with the large event "Museum Night Germany". This will increase the interest and number of visitors.
