New restaurant Tenisino in Potsdam: Experience German and Italian cuisine!
Potsdam, Deutschland - On May 23, 2023, Toni Behadini opened the Tenisino restaurant in the Rot-Weiß tennis club in Potsdam. This new gastronomic offer replaces the previously existing restaurant Avila and brings a breath of fresh air to the culinary landscape of the city. The Behadini brothers, which are also responsible for the Al Lago restaurant on Seddiner See, have developed a concept that combines German and Italian cuisine, but in a smaller selection than in their other restaurant.
A specialty in Tenisino are the Pinsa, which serve as a replacement for traditional pizzas. The pricing is attractive, with offers such as the "Margherita" for 8.50 euros and the "Parma" for 11.50 euros. Furthermore, guests can look forward to German classics such as Königsberger Klopse, Spätzle and various variations of Gnocchi. The latter are obtained from the Italian pasta manufaktur Mondo pasta from Berlin-Spandau and include beetroot gnocchi.
premises and ambience
The restaurant offers its guests around 100 inner places, a winter garden and over 30 outdoor spaces, which create an inviting ambience, especially in the warm season. The new team, consisting of carefully selected employees, ensures a pleasant atmosphere that meets the expectations of a modern restaurant. After the previous restaurant was closed, the Behadini brothers saw the opportunity to create something new and inviting, and the concept of tenisino also plays with the sporting identity of the tennis club, without dominating the focus.
The Behadini family also operates other gastronomic companies, including the Rocco and its brothers and the Mokkabar in Berlin-Kreuzberg. This variety in gastronomy enables you to offer different culinary experiences for different target groups.
gastronomic context in Potsdam
Potsdam not only offers a variety of culinary options in the tenisino. In the historic center of the city is the Libra restaurant, which is located on the new market square, one of the best preserved baroque places in Europe. This restaurant combines authentic old and modern elements and offers gastronomy on three areas with a cozy terrace that can donate shadows to guests at hot temperatures. The ambience, the hospitality and the excellent cuisine of the scale also invite you to linger.
Gastronomy in Germany is also under the influence of Dehoga, which provides a large number of support offers for entrepreneurs in the industry. These include advisory services in the areas of law and operation as well as political concerns such as reducing VAT for gastronomy and promoting more flexible working time models. Thanks to the lobbying work, Dehoga has already saved its members in the area of copyright law over 200 million euros and continues to fight for fair framework conditions for the catering.
The tenisino is part of a lively catering scene and will certainly help enrich the culinary offer in Potsdam. With one opening six days a week, Tuesday is planned as a rest day, the doors are open to guests who want to experience a harmonious mix of Italian and German cuisine.
