Tusk accuses Putin of air terror - alarm readiness in Poland!

Gnezdovo, Russland - On June 12, 2025, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk raised serious accusations against Vladimir Putin and his regime at a press conference. Tusk accuses the Kremlin boss of having planned "air terror" worldwide, whereby the fears of possible attacks on Poland and international airlines are considered justified. The current security concerns are intensified against the background of two incidents with DHL freight aircraft, which have already conducted developments to be troubled. On November 25th, a Swiftair machine crashed from Leipzig to Vilnius, shortly before landing in Lithuania. Preliminary investigations indicate that no external intervention led to the accident, even if the possibility of a Russian background cannot be excluded.

In addition, there was a fire in July at an air freight package in the DHL logistics center in Leipzig, which could have potentially had a potentially catastrophic consequences. Here, too, Putin and his intelligence officers are connected to the incident. Tusk calls for a common action against these sabotage files that Russia has explained in the civilized world, and points out that such threats must be taken seriously to prevent escalation.

The shadows of history

The current allegations and threats are reminiscent of the dark chapters of the past that combine Poland and Russia. A particularly tragic event in this relationship is Katyn's massacre, where over 4,000 people were murdered by the Soviet secret police in 1940. Katyn is a symbol of the mass murder of Polish war and civil prisoners today. There the "Bell of Katyn" reminds of the victims whose names are engraved into a metal wall.

The discovery of mass graves in Katyn by German soldiers in January 1943 brought the atrocities to light, with more than 12,000 Polish officers found in several mines. Historians emphasize that Katyn's crimes are symbolic of the burden of all Polish prisoners in the east and the mass murder of Stalin and the Politburo was decided to target Polish intelligence.

Russia's war policy and war crimes

In the present day, Russia's actions are in a similar light in the Ukraine conflict. Reports on war crimes of the Russian army committed as part of the military promotions in Ukraine document serious human rights violations. More than 5,600 war crimes have now been examined, with 500 known people from the military and government affected in Moscow. Against the background that Russia accuses Ukrainian armed forces to use civilians as human protective shields.

Attacks on civilian institutions, such as schools and clinics, as well as the use of scattering ammunition were captured by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. In March 2022, a commission was used to investigate war crimes that brought troubling knowledge of torture, deportation and targeted killings in areas controlled by Russia. The events in Butscha are particularly tragic, where numerous civilians were murdered during the Battle of Kiev. The brutal tactics used to break the resistance show that the consequences for the civilian population are devastating.

This link between historical and current crimes throws an urgent light on the need for a collective resistance to such practices as Tusk demands. The international community is responsible for pursuing and reacting these developments carefully.
