In the night of June 5, 2025, around 2 a.m., a spectacular fire broke out in Wesselweg! A caravan and two cars - a Skoda Citigo and a VW Touran - stood on the side of the road and were wrapped in flames. The fire brigade was able to extinguish the inferno, but the caravan burned down completely and the two vehicles suffered considerable damage. The adjacent houses were also affected by the fire. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the property damage incurred amounts to shocking 70,000 euros!

The criminal police have started the investigation and is currently checking two possible causes of fire: was it arson or a technical defect? The police are urgently looking for witnesses.
