On Sunday afternoon, June 1st, there was a spectacular sole accident at the end of the town from Bad Hersfeld towards Ludwigsau-Friedlos around 1:15 p.m. A 42-year-old VW driver from Bebra lost control of his vehicle for previously unknown reasons and raced against a power box. The driver and his two small children, at the age of 3 and 5, were injured, but were able to be released into the care of their family after outpatient treatment.

The VW was no longer ready to drive after the accident and had to be towed. The total damage caused by the impact amounts to around 20,000 euros. The drama on Sunday afternoon not only leaves visible traces of the car and electric box, but also the questionable question: What led to this terrible incident?
