Serious accident on L3099: Two injuries after frontal collision!

On Sunday afternoon, around 2:30 p.m., there was a dramatic traffic accident on Landesstraße 3099 between Ernsthofen and Hoxhohl. A 23-year-old BMW driver from Michelstadt and his 19-year-old passenger lost control of her vehicle in a curve. The car raced across the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a Hyundai, which was controlled by a 64-year-old from Bickenbach.

The force of the collision demanded the most serious injuries: the Hyundai driver and his 61-year-old passenger had to be brought to surrounding hospitals after emergency medical care. The person who caused the accident and his passenger only suffered a shock and were treated as a precaution. The police, the emergency services and several volunteer fire departments were quickly on site to cope with the situation.
