Fraudsters beat in the Vogelsberg district: 70-year-old loses 60,000 euros!

On Tuesday, June 10th, a 70-year-old man in the Vogelsberg district fell victim to a brazen shock call and lost 60,000 euros of his savings. The fraudster had pretended to be a police officer and claimed that burglars were active nearby. To protect his assets, the senior pulled money from his bank and handed it over to a supposed civil police officer in Radmühl-Freiensteinau.

The police urgently warn of this stitch: on Wednesday, June 11th, similar calls are piling up throughout the East Hesse.
