Burglars on e-scooter: suspicious burglary fails in Alsfeld!

In a shocking wave of crime, unknown perpetrators have mischiefed their mischief in the past few days in East Hesse. On Wednesday evening, May 28th, a burglar tried to penetrate a two-family house on Karl-Weitz-Straße in Alsfeld. The unknown levered on a basement and terrace door, failed and fled with an e-scooter towards Wiesenweg. The damage amounts to around 300 euros.

Just a few days later, on the night of May 31, intruders tried to break into a clubhouse in Rudingshain. They pushed a blind up and threw with a stone against the window pane, which was pending, which is why they dropped out of their project. Here, too, damage of 400 euros was incurred. The same night caused theft: an E-scooter from the Xaomi brand, worth around 200 euros, was stolen in front of an apartment building on the high street. In Wartenberg, the license plates of a black Hyundai Tucson were also stolen. The police ask for information on these incidents.
