Serious Flixbus accident on A19: 31 injured and many questions

On the evening of July 4, 2025, a serious accident occurred on the A19 near Röbel with a Flixbus, which had previously started in Copenhagen and accidentally an accident. Flixbus also provided a replacement bus for the onward journey of the passengers to Berlin.

In the course of the investigation into the cause of the accident, DEKRA experts were consulted. Including interpreters are necessary for the Georgian bus drivers who will be available during the interrogations. The bus, built in 2025, is confiscated as evidence and brought to a towing company. The estimated property damage amounts to 500,000 euros. The highway was closed in both directions for several hours until it could be released around noon.
