Grevesmühlen, Deutschland - in Grevesmühlen there was a lot of hustle and bustle and a good mood when the 29th city festival was celebrated on June 21, 2025. Thousands of visitors came along the route of the parade to enjoy this event. The move lasted for about two hours and united 57 clubs, companies and groups that were enthusiastic. The moderation took over Frank Marquardt and Sven Schiffner, who gave exciting insights from a lift.

The festival visitors particularly used the concrete blocks set up for traffic safety, which were ideal as seating and storage facilities. However, there were also occasional rescue operations, as Alexander Rehwald from the city administration reported, due to the summer heat, which caused some participants.

A real new addition this year was the handicraft and commercial mile, which was well received by the visitors. Eight companies from Grevesmühlen and the surrounding area presented their offers and made interesting discussions possible. Karsten Joost, an electrician, reported on the many questions from the visitors and spoke about a planned training fair that is to take place at the regional school. Not only company presentations were offered here, but also hands-on and handicrafts for the children were on the program, which made the festival a real family event.

The presentation area was integrated close to the action on Wismarschen Straße into the festival area, so that the exhibitors were in direct contact with the guests. An absolute profit for everyone involved!

In the evening, a big party rounded off the day with DJ Steffen Lehmann and the band "Bos Taurus". The highlight formed an impressive fireworks display that illuminated the sky over Grevesmühlen shortly before 11 p.m. Anyone who was in the city that day could look forward to a varied program and many happy faces.
