Beaming faces at the summer party: Danny Buller inspires seniors!

The 2025 summer festival in Rehna will hold a special place in the memories of many residents of the “Haus am Wiesengrund” retirement home. The popular pop singer Danny Buller performed on July 10th in front of more than 70 people in attendance and created an exuberant atmosphere before he plunged into the musical heights of his current hits. This concert was touching in several ways, because it was Buller's first senior concert in his career and at the same time a project close to his heart that has a special history.

The connection between Buller and the retirement home goes back to the time of the Corona pandemic, when he began giving free concerts for seniors to bring them joy. Under the motto “A Heart for Seniors” he performed in more than 60 facilities in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Schleswig-Holstein and received the Federal Cross of Merit for this in 2023. Together with his team, Buller not only sings his new songs from the album “Simply Happy”, but also evergreens that thrill the audience.

Cultural highlights at the summer festival

During the summer festival, Buller's hits such as “Sierra Madre” were performed, and those present experienced the greatest joy in singing the Mecklenburg song together. Buller was actively supported bySiegfried Kaulich, the director of the senior choir, andJana Bornhöft, who described the concert as wonderful and the atmosphere as consistently positive. Buller plans to perform in many other locations and will be seen again in the Northwest Mecklenburg district in August 2025. The exact dates are August 3rd in Selmsdorf at 2 p.m. and August 17th in the Boltenhagen Kurpark from 3 p.m. What is particularly pleasing is that a selection from his albums “Thank You” and “Simply Happy” will be played at these concerts.

A look into the future of music

This event is aimed at senior choirs and orchestras and brings musical talents together. There will be concerts, seminars and workshops that inspire participants and contribute to the community.
