Tractor giants roll into West Mecklenburg: mega trek in Upahl!
Next week the third tractor trek will take place near Upahl. On June 28th and 29th, over 150 tractors will be at the festive event. The spectacle is organized by the Kreihnsdörp pulling team from Warnow near Grevesmühlen, which has been active in the tractor trek for over 20 years. Erik Frahm and his team of around 30 helpers planned everything precisely to offer the spectators an unforgettable experience. The tractors are divided by horsepower on Saturday and by weight on Sunday. The participants are not only proud of their machines, but also of the diversity that agriculture offers them.
A special highlight are the two brake vans from Cologne and Friesack, which provide additional excitement during the competition. Enthusiasts will have the opportunity to see some of the best models from Germany, including five tractors from the host team, which will compete in various competition classes.
Attractions for all ages
In addition to the exciting competitions, entertainment for younger visitors is also provided. The FSV Testorf/Upahl will offer face painting and a carousel will also be available. If you feel like it, you can explore the area on mopeds and quads or even enjoy a ride on the train. All of this makes the Trecker Trek a real family event!
The entrance fee is 10 euros per day. If you want to book both days at the same time, you can purchase a combination ticket for 15 euros. On Saturday evening there will also be a disco in the marquee from 8 p.m., and a laser show will round off the program and should be another highlight of the evening.
Further events in the tractor pulling sector
The world of tractor pulling is diverse and offers many exciting events. An event recently took place in Haßmoor-Scheede, where the best tractors from Germany and Denmark competed against each other. This event regularly attracts thousands of spectators and is considered one of the best for Tractor Pulling. The high demands placed on riders often bring with them a lot of tension when it comes to achieving the goal of a safe full pull. As visitors know, drivers can easily end up unexpectedly next to the track, even if they are well prepared. This shows how challenging and exciting these competitions really are, [biunsinnorden] reports.
The tractor trek weekend near Upahl promises to be another fascinating chapter in the tradition of tractor pulling. So if you like the smell of diesel and roaring engines, you should make sure you don't miss this event!
