Oliver Trelenberg: By bike for sick children on tour through Germany!
Wittenberge, Deutschland - Again and again it turns out that after severe strokes of fate, people can regain their strength and the will to change. A prime example of this is Oliver Trelenberg, 57 years old, from Hagen, who has been traveling through Germany on his bike tour since May 19. With a proud luggage of around 30 kilograms and a day route of up to 90 kilometers, it has already covered around 4,500 kilometers to support a good cause. He bears the message of hope and the mut for other people who also have to wear their package. Nordkurier reports that Trelenberg is not only physically active, but also plays an important role in making the fate of cancer.
Despite his eventful past, shaped by alcohol abuse, violence and depression, Oliver Trelenberg found his way back to life. After his diagnosis of larynx cancer in 2013, he did everything he could to regain his health and started cycling again. The cycling not only helped him feel better physically, but also to organize his thoughts and leave old ballast behind. As he says himself, he wants to encourage others who have to struggle with similar fights.

A real sign of solidarity - not only for the children, but also for everyone who has overcome the disease. a review and the way to the front
you look back on your life, you can see that Trelenberg has a real fighter heart. He has been cancer -free for twelve years now and has learned to deal with the health effects of his illness. Notor and larynx cramps are challenges that he cares about: he drives more slowly and breathes more evenly. With every route traveled, he hopes to raise awareness of cancer, since around 500,000 people in Germany are faced with this shocking diagnosis.
The return home to the Ruhr area plans Trelenberg for August 7th. Until then, he will continue to cycle for the heart of the sick children, who is close to his heart. Through great deprivation and an incessant will, he has turned his life upside down, and shows that everyone can get up again after difficult times and dare to start again. A role model for many!
