Rostock is preparing: Thousands of fans expect Roland Kaiser in the IGA Park!
In the next week, the Rostock IGA Park will be a stage for one of the most sought-after events of the year. Roland Kaiser, the king of the German hit, is on 4. and July 5, 2023 inspire his fans. Due to the enormous demand, an additional concert was even organized on July 5, which is now sold out. Thousands of supporters are expected to do so, and the anticipation is literally tangible. Ostsee-Zeitung reports that the first sounds on Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. , admission begins at 5 p.m.
But what do concert goers expect in terms of arrival and departure? Many spectators are particularly expected in the evening, which increases the rush at the S-Bahn between Warnemünde and the Rostock Central Station. At the moment, the trains run every 30 minutes, which is particularly important for the home after the concert. Nico Falke from the Verkehrsverbund Warnow (VVW) therefore recommends traveling to the event early.

For the return trip after 10 p.m., two additional S-Bahn are available that depart at 11:04 pm and 11:34 pm . However, these special trains are only available in exceptional cases, so it is better to make sure to be at the train station in Warnemünde in good time. To ensure maximum comfort, RSAG uses shuttle buses and additional trams that enable concert visitors to leave a relaxed departure.
A special highlight is that the tickets for the concerts can also be used as a ticket in the entire VVW area. This regulation applies four hours before the event up to three hours after the end of the concerts. Various tram lines, including lines 1 and 5, bring guests comfortably into the city center and beyond. The RSAG also plans shuttle buses from the Lütten S-Bahnhof Klein to the tram stop to make it easier for guests to travel.

The parking situation at the IGA-Park is also well thought out for cars. The VVW recommends the parking lot in Lichtenhagen, especially the P&R parking lot "Flensburger Straße". From there, the concert goers can go small with the S-Bahn to Lütten and thus quickly reached the destination.But the concert by Roland Kaiser is not the only event that causes a sensation this July in Rostock. On 02. July takes a Phil Collins tribute show in the monastery garden, followed by concerts by Jakob Heymann & Falk and the musical performance "Millennium" on 05. July . Also on 06. July the fans can look forward to Rooster’s Farm. The cultural diversity in Rostock remains unchanged and there is always something to discover!
