Big Christmas singing in the Ostseestadion: melodies for the family!

The anticipation for the most contemplative time of the year is increasing, because the Ostseestadion in Rostock will be the venue for a very special celebration on December 13th. Together, the Ostseestadion GmbH and the Volkstheater Rostock are presenting a big Christmas singing event that leaves nothing to be desired. From 5 p.m., numerous sing-alongs are invited to sing along to classic Christmas songs such as “Merry Christmas” and “Oh Du Merry.”

The event is designed as a celebratory family experience that will delight young and old alike. Several ensembles will perform on stage, including the Opera Choir of the Volkstheater, the Rostock Singing Academy and the Children's and Youth Choir of the Singing Academy. A live band and the athletes' choir, consisting of athletes from various Rostock clubs, will also be there. Intendant Ralph Reichel emphasizes the importance of the tradition of singing together, while Ronald Maul, Hansa's CEO, hopes for full ranks.

A celebration for the whole family

Christmas singing in the Ostseestadion is not just about music, but also about conviviality. To ensure that the celebrations are accessible to everyone, tickets are offered in different price categories. Adults pay 15 euros for a seat and 11 euros for a standing room. Children can join in the celebration for just 7 euros while sitting or for 5 euros while standing. The ticket price also includes a candle, a drip protector and a songbook. There are sufficient parking spaces available at the stadium so that the journey can be made uncomplicated.
