How NNN reports, 29-year-old Jenny Schulze, a native of Rostock and IT project manager, was unanimously elected as the new district chairwoman. The previous chairman, Christoph Eisfeld, resigned from the office voluntarily and will continue to serve on the board as deputy district chairman.
The new appointment of the board is a fresh sign of the political change in Rostock. In addition to Jenny Schulze, the new deputy district chairmen include Julia Kristin Pittasch, who is active as parliamentary group leader of the FDP/Independents in Rostock's parliament, and Hannes Grabia, a business lawyer. Treasurer Philipp Zischke will also remain at the helm of finance. The assessors on the new board – including Tilmann Felgner, Andreas Szabó and Philipp Johannsen for the Young Liberals – complete the team.
