Rostock shock: Drunk robbery suspect sleeps at the crime scene!

Early on Sunday morning, November 2nd, an attempted robbery was carried out in Rostock's Kröpeliner-Tor suburb, which caused excitement among residents. At around 2:40 a.m., an unknown man asked two men on Friedrichstrasse for money. When they refused, the perpetrator attacked them and punched one of the men in the face, causing minor injuries. But the attack should not have the last word, reports Northern Courier.

After the attack, the perpetrator initially fled, but was caught by the police a short time later in the city harbor area. It turned out that the 22-year-old man was found sleeping against a wall, an image that would have certainly made some passers-by smile had the situation not been so serious. However, when he was woken up, the young man reacted aggressively and uncooperatively, which led to him being handcuffed and taken into custody by the officers. A breath alcohol test showed a level of 1.15 per mille, which could perhaps explain his aggressive reaction. On instructions from the public prosecutor's office, a blood sample was taken while the Rostock criminal police are investigating on suspicion of attempted robbery.

Hygiene in the bathroom – a problem child?

To avoid such bug problems, the bathroom should be cleaned regularly, ideally weekly. Simple tips to eliminate larvae and their constant companions include pouring hot water and bleach into the pipes and cleaning the tiles with disinfectant, especially in the shower area. Another common troublemaker are red larvae, which come from Glycera dibranchiata Ehlers and can enter the bathroom via the pipes. Once they've settled in, simply flushing the toilet is usually enough to get rid of them.

Prevention is the be-all and end-all

To prevent re-infestation, it is recommended to keep the bathroom dry by ducting after showering, ensuring good ventilation and performing frequent cleaning. A good knack for housekeeping can also help you get rid of annoying pests.
