The Rostock Seawolves have broken the ice and celebrated their first away win in the FIBA Europe Cup. With an impressive 94:77 win against the basketball ladies from Tartu Ülikool Maks & Moorits, the boys from Rostock showed that they are determined to dominate their group. The enthusiastic fan base saw an exciting match that gave the players a real boost. After the first quarter it was already 20:18 for Rostock, and coach Przemyslaw Frasunkiewicz could be rightly proud of his team.
Rostock took control of the game in the second quarter with an impressive 11-0 run. At halftime the team was already leading 47:38 and treated the spectators to a true basketball spectacle. Top scorer DeAndre Lansdowne impressively demonstrated his skills and scored 16 points. A particular highlight was his buzzer-beater three-pointer at the end of the third quarter, which increased the lead to 70:49. The Rostock team also dominated in the final quarter, even if the guests from Tartu came closer to 88:75 in the final phase. However, the Seawolves didn't let themselves get carried away and secured the deserved victory.
