Rostock's water jumpers fight for titles at German championships!

In a few days, on June 28 and 29, 2025, the German C-Youth championships will take place in Dresden in water jumping. The WSC Rostock will take a strong contingent of ten talented athletes - a remarkable step for the future of young athletes. Among them are six jumpers from the 2012 and four from 2013. The pressure is high, but the anticipation is noticeable, such as nordkurier.de reports.

Already in March the WSC Rostock showed what he was in at the indoor championships in Aachen. Here the athletes fought remarkable placements. Particularly noteworthy are the achievements in the 2012 vintage, where Paula Marie Wieck and Lara Wigger were on the podium. With a double victory in the disciplines, Jan Chrobak made one and three meters for cheers in the team. There were also outstanding results in the 2013 vintage: Juliane Mank triumphed in both disciplines of the art jumping, while Malou Klement and Ben Strübing won medals in the "Dreier" and at the tower. Overall, the championship became a springboard for the entire team, which travels to Dresden with new experiences.

most successful base at the championships

The WSC Rostock not only made a name for itself through its talented jumpers, but also through the excellent work of the trainers. Wenke Warninck, the trainer of the young people, emphasizes how important this championship is for the development of the athletes: she not only offers a platform for preparation for competition, but also promotes team spirit and the ability to act under pressure. These experiences are priceless for later life, emphasizes Warninck.

In addition to the individual services, the Rostockers in Dresden are also happy about the successes at the German indoor championships of the C-youth, which took place from March 16 to 19. Here the Rostock delegation competed with nine athletes and two trainers and achieved remarkable results. Luise Rätzel, Elisa Holtz and Emma Yasmin Grube from the 2010 vintage and Jella Kiphut as well as Anna Kowitz from the 2011 vintage were able to leave their opponents behind and clear up numerous medals. Where else could you celebrate so many successes, if not in Dresden, the next competition location? lsb-mv.de.

rely on the latest talents

An exciting detail is also evident in the general evaluation: the recent years, both B and A, often bring the best performance in water jumping. This is also emphasized by the report by germanaquatics.de, which deals with the success of the junior vice world champions and the talents from Berlin clubs. The WSC Rostock shouldn't worry in this regard: the young jumper is ready to prove themselves and continue the tradition of successful achievements.

It remains to be seen whether it is possible to come home with titles and medals in Dresden. But one thing is certain: the Rostockers show their skills and their passion for jumping water. No matter how the final result is - the team has already taken a remarkable step into the future.
