Today is an exciting day for culture in Rostock: From Friday, July 4th, 2025, you can purchase tickets for the diverse events of the Volkstheater Rostock. From grand operas to captivating plays, rousing concerts and thrilling musicals – the range is wide and promises the best entertainment. A special treat awaits theater fans with the opening production of “The Rats” by Gerhart Hauptmann in the Great House, which will be on the schedule from September. There is also a premiere for lovers of the hilarious: “The Kangaroo Chronicles” in the Ateliertheater is also on the program from September and promises an amusing evening. Music lovers can look forward to the first opera of the season, “Madama Butterfly,” from October.

Diverse productions and price adjustments
