Camouflage concerts in Neubrandenburg and Schwerin canceled!

There is currently sobering news in the music world for fans of the synthpop band Camouflage. The concert in Neubrandenburg planned for September 5, 2025 has been canceled. The reason for this is the insolvency of the event agency Arivati Entertainment UG, which is no longer able to provide the necessary financial resources for the show. The band regrets this development and informed their fans via Facebook that this decision came after a failed attempt to find another promoter. Frustration is spreading among fans, particularly international visitors who had already arranged travel and hotel bookings to attend the event.

The cancellation in Neubrandenburg is not the only one that Camouflage has had to cope with recently. The band's planned appearance at the open-air event in Schwerin on August 15, 2025 did not take place. Here too, Arivati's bankruptcy was the decisive factor. A spokesman for the band expressed disappointment that no official press statement was released about the situation despite repeated requests. The uncertainty about further planned events, including performances by Das Ich, Pro-Pain and Dr. Motte and the “Dark East” festival 2026 in Bautzen are causing additional concern among fans.

The consequences of bankruptcy

Arivati's insolvency, which was filed with the Dresden District Court at the end of July 2025, has serious consequences for a wide range of events. The organizer cited the corona pandemic, sharply increased costs and changed visitor behavior as the main reasons for this unfortunate situation. This will not only have consequences for the upcoming concerts by Camouflage and other artists, but also for the ticket holders, who already have to worry about refunds. Ticket holders are requested to contact the advance booking offices or ticket provider directly to return their previously purchased tickets [chip.de].

However, the provisional insolvency administrator is cautiously optimistic that some events could be saved. Intensive discussions are currently underway with artists, agencies and other parties involved in order to find possible solutions and to be able to restructure the agency, which represents hope for many fans who are waiting for their favorite concerts.

The person in charge of the Pappelpark stage in Schwerin, Sebastian Glanz, described the developments as a big disappointment for the fans who had already been looking forward to the performances. Ticket sales have also already stopped sales for the affected concerts, which further increases the uncertainty about future events.

Camouflage fans have to prepare for uncertain times and hope for clarity soon. In the meantime, we can only hope that the current situation will be overcome quickly and that music lovers will soon be able to enjoy their favorite artists again.
