Young animal cup in Schwerin: Handball highlight for the youth on Sunday!

Hamburger Allee 240, 19053 Schwerin, Deutschland - in Schwerin it will be good in the coming days, because the bull cup 2025 is just around the corner! On Sunday, June 14th, and Monday, June 15th, over 28 talented teams of the D and E-Youth compete in the young animal center in Hamburger Allee. This sporting event promises to become a highlight for handball fans in the region, not only because of the strong fields of participants, but also the free entry options. The first whistles sound from 1:00 p.m. and the doors are open to everyone who wants to experience the spectacle live.

The bull cup is organized by the Mecklenburg boys from Schwerin, who are represented in both age groups with four of their own teams. This year, teams from different cities have registered, including Magdeburg, Leipzig, Hamburg and Rostock, as well as the German champion Berlin Foxes. There are some real handball meals!

a strong field of participants

The e-youth already impresses with eleven reported teams, including more well-known names such as HC Elbflorenz, DHfK Leipzig and Hamburg Nord. But the list does not end there. In the D-youth, too, 15 teams have registered that will fight for the title. These include, for example, the foxes from Berlin, as well as SC Magdeburg and also the bulls themselves, who send two teams into the race. What a sporty spectacle!

The C-youth will initiate the tournament a week later, on June 21 and 22, with eight teams already promised their participation, including the bull I, OSF Berlin and St. Pauli. This shows the lively commitment in regional handball and suggests that the youth of the handball world in Germany is on the rise.

The organizers only have two places for the E and D youth to award, one in every age group. Interested teams are called to contact MW@mecklenburger-stiere.de as soon as possible to secure one of the coveted starting places. Who knows, maybe the next stars can be found among the young people who fight for the title in the young animal center!

The games are played in several halls, including Hamburger Allee 240 and the Holgerson primary school. A visit is definitely worth it! The organizers wish all participating teams every success in the bull cup and look forward to exciting duels and stirring moments.
