Literary sky over Schwerin: Exchange & listen on July 6th!

on Sunday, July 6th, the streets of Schwerin transform into a literary festival that attracts young and old. The event "exchange & listen" takes place from 2 to 5 p.m. on four public book boxes and not only brings together book lovers, but also offers exciting readings of well -known personalities.

The actor Martin Neuhaus will read from his popular children's book "Ratzbatz", while Dr. Wolfgang Donner presented a less child -friendly but no less captivating literature with “Hermann's World War”. Leif Tennemann is also presenting one of his favorite books, and the author Diana Salow presents her crime thriller "Murderous Schwerin - Late Revenge". Matthias Baerens will provide a moving contribution about the 1986 aircraft accident. City President Sebastian Ehlers and members of "Mentor - The Leselernhelfer Schwerin e.V." And the Lions Club Fürst Niklot will also appear as a reader.

The special thing about this event is the book exchange principle: "one pure, one out". This promotes literary diversity and everyone has the chance to discover new favorite books. There will also be a sales sale on site, the proceeds of which should benefit a good cause.

The event is not only an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of books, but also promotes the community experience in the open air. The organizers cordially invite everyone to bring themselves closer to the city's literary wealth on this special afternoon and to get into conversation in a piece of cake.

Next events and call for donations

The event on September 1 will also be a highlight. From 10:30 a.m., the book exchange boxes in turn invite you to discover stories. This time Martin Neuhaus and Leif Tennemann will read again, and the listeners are invited to participate in subsequent discussions. Here, too, it is recommended to bring money for cake sales, and there is a call for donations for the restoration of the book exchange box damaged in Lankow.
