Full closure of the B104: Safety is going on - important detours!

From July 28, 2025, the B104 between Wickendorf and the ramp will be fully blocked. The reason for this measure is structural changes in the corner area that are intended to improve traffic safety on this route. There is currently a speed limit of 50 km/h, and the upper asphalt layers must be renewed over a length of about 2.5 km. Half -sided closures were originally planned from July 14, 2025, but thanks to an adapted construction technology. These changes are announced by [nordkurier.de] (https://www.nordkurier.de/regional/schwerin/sperrung-sekuendigt-b104-werd-dem-paulsdamm-erne- 3751680).

The full closure will last between July 28th and August 9, 2025. During this time, however, the bike path remains usable for pedestrians and cyclists. In order to lead motorized traffic, a detour route is planned: via the L 101 to Raben Steinfeld, further via the B 321, B 106 and then back over the B 104 to Güstrower Straße and vice

follow -up and further construction work

After the full closure, a further two weeks can be expected to disabilities due to follow -up work, which are connected to half -sided closures and traffic light regulations. A full closure between Sternberg and Weitendorf is already planned in mid -August 2025, where road covering is carried out. More details about this construction project is still pending.

Long -term measures are also in prospect: By the end of November 2025, work will be carried out on the bike path along the B104 between Thurow and Zaschendorf. Here, too, speed limits and semi -sided closures cannot be ruled out. For 2026, further construction work is planned on the bike path from Wickendorf to Rampe, which are expected to require six weeks of full closure. This full closure is scheduled for the summer vacation 2026 from July 13th to August 22nd.

Current construction sites in the region

Not only the B104 is at the disposition. Work is also carried out on various streets in the region that could restrict traffic. For example, the A11 between Penkun and Pomelle falls victim to a roadway repair for 8.9 km from June 26, 2025. The A14 will also be renewed from the same date between Wismar and Pröbbower See and other sections, which will also be associated with restrictions. Various construction work has also been announced on the A19 and other state and federal roads, as can be seen in the overview on [Strassen-mv.de] (https://www.strassen-mv.de/de/verkehrsinfos/baUbaStoS list).

In addition, a digital construction site tool is offered that makes it easier for citizens to provide information on current construction sites. The tool, which is provided by Secure Strassen.org, not only enables you to enter construction sites on an interactive map, but also offers the option of conveniently accessing information on closures and diversions. Citizens can efficiently plan their paths through intuitive operation and are always informed about the current traffic situations.
