Three men arrested in Loissin: hunting weapon debacle solved!

There have been two home break-ins in Loissin in the last few weeks, which have caused a stir in the local police department. Hunting rifles were stolen in these burglaries, which occurred between May 2nd and 4th, 2025. This reported, among other things news.de.

The Anklam criminal police station and the Stralsund public prosecutor's office worked hand in hand and were able to identify a group of perpetrators. These are three German citizens aged 44, 49 and 51 who live in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district. The investigators found what they were looking for and confiscated numerous data storage devices from the suspects' apartments.

Targeted measures and arrests

Through the clever use of video recordings from a private surveillance camera, the police were able to find out that the perpetrators were traveling on bicycles instead of typical burglar vehicles. This led to targeted searches in the surrounding forests, where investigators discovered buried firearms and ammunition. Based on this information, arrest warrants were issued against the accused on July 11, 2025, who are now in custody.

Despite the arrests, police are still looking for witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious around the time of the break-ins. Anyone with information can contact the Wolgast police station on 03836 2520 or visit the Internet station of the M-V state police ( ndrt.de ).

The police have already stepped up investigations to prevent such incidents in the future. The citizens of Loissin are asked to keep a watchful eye and report any suspicious activity immediately. You never know what's going to happen - a good knack for reporting could help stop criminals.
