The anticipation of new trips across the Szczecin Lagoon is growing! From today, June 28, 2025, an exciting ferry connection starts that connects the Polish towns of Szczecin (Stettin), Nowe Warpno (Neuwarp) and Swinoujscie (Swinoujscie). The new connection is not only a great option for a weekend getaway, but also offers wonderful views of historical sights and the unique nature in the area. The new ferry has space for around 200 passengers and can transport 50 bicycles. On a trip between Neuwarp and Świnoujście, which takes around four hours, travelers can enjoy relaxing hours on board. Logistics behind the connection
Before the ferry took the first passengers on board, the channel on the Polish side of the Szczecin Lagoon and Lake Neuwarp was dredged. These measures were fundamental to realizing the new ferry connection. The entire project is based on cooperation between the city of Szczecin and the Police District, with approval being granted by the Szczecin City Council.
