Major developments are in full swing in Wolgast, as the new retail park on Wedeler Straße is finally taking shape. Boris Göttsche, head of corporate development at Bartels-Langness-Großhandelsgesellschaft mbH, is very satisfied with the progress of the construction work. Despite a minimal delay, an opening is planned for September 2023, provided the weather conditions cooperate.

What exactly can future customers expect in the new center? There will be a new Jysk market with a sales area of ​​950 square meters, a dm drugstore with 650 square meters and a branch of the pet supplies provider “Das Futterhaus” with 400 square meters. This not only offers a wide range of products, but also ensures a lot of customer traffic. The planned retail center will be supplemented by various storage options and around 80 parking spaces, so that there is enough space for everyone.

Renovations and future offers

After the move from Jysk to the new building, the old Jysk market hall will also be rebuilt. The beverage country will move in here instead of Jysk.
