The German Weather Service predicts unstable conditions due to the influence of a low pressure area that brings cooler North Atlantic air.

Particularly in the east of Lower Saxony, prolonged rain is expected from the afternoon onwards. Meanwhile, local showers and strong thunderstorms are expected in the west and southwest. The temperatures in western Lower Saxony are around 21 degrees, while in the Osnabrück area it gets up to 26 degrees. Additionally, weather conditions indicate possible strong and gale force gusts (55 to 75 km/h), which may lead to dangerous conditions.
Changeable weather is already forecast for Hamburg today, with heavily cloudy skies and a little rain in the eastern part of the city. The maximum values are an acceptable 21 to 23 degrees. The weather service always repeats that intense heavy rain cannot be ruled out, especially in the northeastern area of the Elbe.
