In the accident, the driver, her nine-year-old son and the 74-year-old driver of the vans were slightly injured.

The exact cause of the accident is still unclear. The 46-year-old woman was traveling towards Groß Luckow with her car while the man came towards his van. Due to the collision, the van came off the street and crashed into a guideline and a tree. The two vehicles were no longer ready to drive after the accident and had to be towed.
