Current disruptions in radio reception are causing confusion and discontent in Rostock and the surrounding area. On July 22, 2025, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., the reception of several NDR radio stations was significantly affected, primarily affecting listeners in the Rostock region. The work at the transmitter site includes, among other things, urgently needed maintenance work, which meant that the technology had to be switched off for half an hour at a time to protect the technicians.
