Ralswiek, Deutschland - The anticipation for the Störtebek Festival is noticeable because the largest open-air theater in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania opens its doors again. On June 28, 2025, the season will be heralded with the new piece "Freiebider of the Seas", which addresses the life of the legendary pirate Klaus Störtebeker. The fairy tale of Störtebeker is brought to life on the impressive Naturbühne Ralswiek, which is one of the largest open -air stages in Europe. So that the visitors can not only enjoy a play, but a spectacle, over 150 participants, 30 horses and 4 ships have come together to offer a top -class theater experience. Special pyro effects and stunts are also on the program, which are rehearsed intensively to guarantee security. practical tips for visitors
How best gets to the Ralswiek natural stage? In terms of traffic, arrival is possible via the Rügen Bridge and with the car ferry from Stahlbrode to Glewitz. And be careful: Ralswiek is closed to traffic during the season from 5 p.m. to give visitors a pleasant journey. Free parking spaces are available, but parking is done at your own responsibility. If you like it a little easier, you can use the shuttle service from parking lot B96 to the natural stage. The "Bimmelbahn" runs every five minutes every day and brings the guests to the stage for only 2.50 euros per adult and 1 euro for children between the ages of 5 and 11.
There are special regulations for family class children: Children up to 4 years are allowed to sit on their lap accompanied by an adult. Ticket prices range between 20 and 48 euros, whereby there is a discount of 10 euros for children up to 15 years and a flat rate for wheelchair users.

In addition, a podcast is published about the impressive experiences and memories of long -term contributors. The stage sets and structures are also creatively implemented by the Störtebeker sawmill.
