New shine in the Schloßallee beer garden: Celebration together in Haag!

Haag, Deutschland - On June 1, 2025, the Schloßallee beer garden in Haag was officially reopened under new management. The new tenants, Suleiman Hotaki and Markus Gastberger, opened the establishment for the first guests on May 1, when the weather was nice. Mayor Anton Geier and brewery owner Ignaz Graf zu toering-Jettenbach were among the guests of honor of the event, which was opened with a traditional barrel tapping by Hotaki. With simple three strokes, he successfully achieved this exciting tradition. The reopening should not only be a festival for the visitors, but also strengthen the cooperation in the community.

The new operators have the intention of further promoting the sense of community in Haag. At future events, such as the Lampion Festival, Hotaki and Gastberger want to work closely with the community. This became clear during the celebrations where the band Cagey Strings offered musical entertainment. Geier presented the operators a gift for the inauguration: a summary of the history of the beer garden.

new ideas and changes

For the takeover of the historic beer garden, which belongs to the Bavarian way of life, Hotaki and Gastberger had planned a short -term, comprehensive preparation. This included repairs to benches, the recruitment of staff and the renewal of the tapping system. The gastronomy driver Markus Gastberger, who also leads the Garchinger Augustiner and the Schleißheim castle economy, always recognized the potential of Schlossallee, while Suleiman Hotaki previously worked in real estate agency.

The takeover came as a surprise during conversations about another object. The new operators attach great importance to the tradition of the beer garden visit, which means that guests can bring their own snacks. A ban on earlier times to accept pizza deliveries remains to avoid problems with garbage and placement. Traditional Bavarian dishes are offered at the stands, including moving out, Obazda, connector and roast pork.

The role of the beer garden in society

beer gardens are not only the place of sociable get -together, but also an important part of the Bavarian way of life, which has been around for over 200 years. The beer garden regulation allows guests to bring their own dishes and offers a social function, especially for families. Popular dishes include hendl, roast pork, sausages and connector. The Bavarian beer garden culture is firmly rooted and was supported by historical movement, as the 1995 beer garden revolution.

With their new management,

HOTAKI and Gastberger show a lot of commitment to a successful restart of Schlossallee. Her creative ideas, such as the search for former regulars' owners with the help of regular round table signs published online, have already borne fruit and testify to their innovative strength.

The new operators are optimistic and even plan to create a small winter offer, including the possibility of celebrations in Salettl. With the reopening of the Schloßallee beer garden, you will set an example for the continuation of this traditional culture and hope to create a place where the community can continue to meet and exchange in the future.
