On Saturday afternoon, June 7, 2025, a dangerous incident occurred on Barntruper Straße in Dörentrup: A 34-year-old woman from Dörentrup was on the walk/bike path towards Mosebeck when a 46-year-old driver from Bad Salzuflen wanted to enter the "Hohenwart" into Barntruper Straße. The driver overlooked the cyclist, who was just able to avoid a collision by braking.

However, she lost control of her bike and fell. Fortunately, she just injured herself slightly and did not need a medical care. Low property damage occurred on the e-bike. Luck has struck again, but the incident shows how quickly the mischief can lurk on the streets!
