Serious accident on A7: Witnesses wanted for transporter crash!

In the early Sunday morning, May 25, 2025, there was a dramatic traffic accident on the A7 between Berkhof and Mellendorf, in which two people were seriously injured. A 32-year-old man from WEWELFLleth lost control of his Opel transporter around 5:50 a.m. and crashed into the rear left side of a saddle train, which was steered by a 64-year-old from Lithuania.

The 33-year-old passenger of the van was seriously injured and had to be freed from the vehicle by the volunteer fire brigade. He was immediately taken to the hospital under an emergency doctor's accompaniment. The driver himself only suffered minor injuries and also went to medical treatment.
