Wave of burglaries: police warn of garden thieves in Cloppenburg!

In Cloppenburg and Löningen, unknown perpetrators have committed a number of burglaries and vandal files in the past few days. On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, two people entered a plot of land in Emsstrasse around 00:45 and stole various decorative items from the garden. The exact amount of damage is currently unclear. Even in the period from 7th to June 10th, unknown persons entered a discounter on Lange Strasse, searched for the premises and fled. Whether something was stolen could not yet be confirmed.

In addition, a fence was damaged in Gutenbergstrasse between June 6 and 10, 2025, with damage of around 300 euros. A white VW Golf was vandalized in a parked place on Kirchplatzstrasse. A tire valve was removed on the car. Finally, the glass entrance door of a business in Bremer Straße was hit between 8 and 9 June with a stone, which also resulted in damage of around 300 euros. The police ask for information on the incidents under the specified telephone numbers.
