Traffic chaos in Diepholz: accidents and injured on Saturday!
On Saturday afternoon there was a dramatic traffic accident in Diepholz, in which two people were slightly injured. A 37-year-old driver overlooked a 52-year-old's right of way at the Amelogenstraße/Eschenfeldstrasse intersection, which led to the frontal collision. Both vehicles are now scrap and the passenger suffered injuries.
Another incident occurred on the same day in Sulingen when a 21-year-old driver noticed during a check-without a valid driver's license and under drugs. He was stopped and a blood sample was ordered while his onward journey was prohibited. In Bruchhausen-Vilsen, theft was reported, in which an unknown 400 euro cash stole cash from a lost wallet. The wallet was later found by a witness and handed over to the police.
Last but not least, a serious accident occurred on Bremer Straße in Bassum when a 66-year-old overlooked a 45-year-old driver. Both drivers suffered injuries and had to go to the hospital, while the vehicles suffered total damage, with an estimated property damage of 22,000 euros.
