On Friday afternoon, at 4:10 p.m., an incident occurred in the parking lot of a discounter on Löninger Strasse in Herzlake. An unknown person pushed against a parked Opel Mokka while parking with a Renault Trafic and causing property damage of around 1,500 euros. But instead of taking care of the damage regulation, the driver of the Renault fled from the scene of the accident.

The police in Meppen are now asking for information from witnesses who have information about the vehicle or driver. Anyone who has seen something is asked to report on 05931/9490.
