On Saturday, May 31, 2025, a shocking possible homicide occurred in Berne. A 30-year-old woman called the emergency call around 9:00 a.m. and admitted to having seriously injured her husband. When rescue workers arrived in the common house in Hiddigwarden, they found the 32-year-old with stab wounds, he was not available.
