Stormchaos in Greifswald: Trampoline flies 220 meters!
Greifswald, Deutschland - In the late afternoon of June 10, 2025, Greifswald experienced a dramatic storm that fell into the chaos! Strong gusts of wind, possibly wind pants, tore through the western city center and caused considerable damage. From around 3:15 p.m., numerous emergency calls were received by the police and the rescue control center. A trampoline with force was blown away from a property on Bahnhofstrasse and landed spectacularly 220 meters away, at the intersection Lange Straße/Wollweber Straße.
A total of eight damaged vehicles were registered by 6:00 p.m., but fortunately there were no injuries. The property damage incurred is currently estimated at around 15,000 euros. Local residents and civil servants agree: this storm has caused excitement and shock!| Details | |
