Serious truck accident on A5: Police are looking for witnesses!

On Wednesday evening, June 11th, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred on the A5 motorway at around 6:30 p.m., Neuchâtel exit in the direction of Karlsruhe. An unknown driver who was traveling with a black car apparently affected in front of the delay strip and stopped behind waiting vehicles. As a result, a subsequent truck reacted too late and unchecked the standing vehicle.

The truck driver was slightly injured in the collision. The Freiburg traffic police have already started the accident and is urgently looking for witnesses who can provide information on the torn car or the exact course of the accident.
