DJK Memmingen shines at the Bavarian championships in lawn strength!
The DJK Memmingen experienced a successful appearance at the Bavarian Championships in lawn strength, which took place on June 9, 2025 in Schongau. With a total of 13 athletes, the club took part in the competitions, which were held in the disciplines of hammer throw, weight accommodation and stone punch, each adapted to the age group and body weight. The athletes had the opportunity to start in two age groups and showed impressive achievements.
Sandro Koinzer stood in the men's class of the competition and was able to secure first place with 2,549 points. His hammer throw, which he improved to 55.60 meters, was particularly remarkable. Charlotte Betetz also shone in youth B and secured the title with 1,964 points, in addition she threw the hammer over 40 meters (40.49 meters).

In the youth A category, Franziska Karg was able to win gold with 2,055 points. In addition, she scored silver in youth B with 2,242 points, with her hammer throw at 44.49 meters. In the team ranking, Karg and Nele Pistner prevailed with 4,164 points and thus also secured first place in their age group. In the A-youth they reached 3,775 points together and triumphed again.
- Charlotte Beatz and Anja Kehrle together scored 3,985 points and took second place in the team classification.
- Anja Kehrle secured two bronze medals: in youth B with 2,021 points and in youth A with 1,848 points.
- Sina Kehrle won the silver medal with 1,894 points for the juniors.
- Elia Seybold took second place in the student B category with 1,624 points.
- Bruno Müller followed in 5th place with 1,592 points.
- Seybold and Müller together scored 3,216 points and became Bavarian runner -up.
Oskar Bürzle finished 3rd with 1,383 points, while Jonas Bernik came 6th with 1,472 points. Together they achieved 2,855 points in the team ranking and took third place. Robin Supka, who came to 864 points with the B students, closed the competition in 7th place.
