One of these departures is the top scorer Jennifer Moses, who scored impressive 21 goals in 26 league games last season. Moses is now playing again for the 1st FFC Recklinghausen, where she was previously active. Next to her, goalkeeper Leonie Bendzulla also changes to the same club. Bendzulla, who has been part of the Schalke squad since 2023, is looking for a new challenge.

The departures are not only limited to Moses and Bendzulla. Other players who leave Schalke 04 are Edina Habibovic, who switches to MSV Duisburg, as well as Michelle Biskup, Tracy Boahen, Michelle Büning, Hana Hamdi, Alina Honold and Barakissa Coulibaly.
