Drug thief at Dortmund Central Station: arrest after triple theft!

A 36-year-old man was arrested on June 9 at Dortmund Central Station after he had stolen in a drugstore worth around 170 euros. Security forces watched him when he crossed the cash register without paying. The man who was traveling without ID documents and lives in the Netherlands was reported to the officials by a shop person.

cameras in the drugstore recorded the thefts, and further investigations showed that the man had already committed two other deeds that day. Due to the severity of the offense and the fact that he was caught in the act, the public prosecutor decided to temporarily arrest him and to initiate an accelerated procedure. The man was brought to the central police custody in Dortmund.
