Mobile craub in Wesel: suspicious arrested, accomplice on the run!

On Tuesday, May 28, 2025, there was a brazen theft in a mobile phone shop on Neustrasse in Wesel. Two masked men stormed into the shop at 1:17 p.m. and immediately tore brackets for mobile phones from the anchorage before they fled with a variety of devices on foot towards Friedrich-Ebert-Straße.

The police were alerted and immediately started a search. A perpetrator could quickly be picked up on Duisburger Straße towards the trotting racing track. Despite his attempt to hide under a roof, he was temporarily arrested. But the accomplice remains on the run - the police continue the search for him.
