Cologne children's university 2025: Sporty adventures for young talents!

Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln, 50933 Köln, Deutschland - The Kölnerkinderuni 2025 took place from May 19 to 22nd at the German Sport University Cologne. After a one -year break, the popular event returned and, above all, addressed sports -loving children between the ages of 8 and 14. A total of 13 different events were offered that covered a wide range of topics, including tennis, beach volleyball, inline skating as well as insights into mental awareness in sport and muscle function.

The Cologne Children's University has been organized by the German Sports University since 2007 and attracts numerous children every year. It not only offers workshops, but also lectures to bring the teaching and research of the university closer to young participants. In addition, various Cologne research institutions take part in this project.

The event offered a varied program. The first day began with an introduction to the lecture hall, followed by a course on football tactics and rules as well as courses on self -compassion in sports and hip -hop dance. On the second day, the children were able to dive into the sports of tennis and beach volleyball that were offered for beginners and advanced.

The third day was all about movement and democracy with the course "Dernanted Democracy" and a series of muscle function and movement. On the last day, the participants were able to gain practical experience at Inline Skating and learned a lot about sports injuries as well as digital movement and fitness offers with their cell phone.

Over 150 children took part in the Cologne children's university and diligently collected stamps for the events attended. Anyone who collected seven stamps will receive the coveted Kinderuni Bachelor certificate, which will be awarded in autumn. The children's university runs until the end of September 2025 and offers more exciting events.

A supplementary offer of the German Sport University is the Online seminar for athletic training with children and adolescents on January 13, 2025. It conveys theoretical basics for child and youth-friendly athletic training and is therefore valuable training for trainers, sports teachers and trainers.

With these diverse offers, the German Sport University Cologne focuses on the promotion of sporting talents at a young age.
