On Monday afternoon there was a dramatic traffic accident on the L511! A 73-year-old driver from Herten wanted to turn left onto Scherlebecker Straße at 12:30 p.m. and collided with an oncoming driving school car, which was occupied by a 52-year-old man from Marl and an 18-year-old from Herten. The impact was so violent that the senior's car overturned and landed on the roof!

Fortunately, everyone involved was only slightly injured and were immediately brought to nearby hospitals with ambulances. The amount of damage is estimated at a whopping 20,000 euros and both vehicles had to be towed. During the accident recording, the road was closed at short notice, which caused traffic disabilities.
