Fraudster alarm! Senior couple loses jewelry worth 100,000 euros

Refrath, Deutschland - yesterday, on May 27, a couple of senior couple from Refrath experienced a shocking fraud. A fraudster who spent himself as a police officer contacted the couple by phone and claimed that her son was involved in a serious traffic accident in which an infant died. In order to prevent her son's arrest, he demanded several ten thousand euros. Since the couple could not raise the money, they offered to hand over valuable pieces of jewelry and gold from a bank lock.

The transfer date was agreed and the suspect was finally published. It is described as 160 to 165 cm tall with dark hair and is said to have been pregnant. The police are now asking for information from the population and warning of similar fraud stitches.
