Volunteer fire brigade Alps: 15 new firefighters after the basic course!

Last Saturday, an important step for the volunteer fire brigades in Sonsbeck, Xanten and Alps took place: the basic course ended with a practical final exam in Hamb. The three municipalities have been working hand in hand for years to offer prospective firefighters the best foundations. In the past few weeks, the focus has been on practical implementation after the theoretical content had already been conveyed.

In the final examination, a large number of operational scenarios were played through, which the new members are perfectly preparing for their challenges. The course management was extremely satisfied with the results achieved. Now 15 new comrades and two new comrades can start their trip to the active fire brigade. But the training does not end here: the next basic course starts in autumn to win fresh volunteer potential again!
